So you want to learn the Piano?

Hi! This blog post is primarily aimed to the person new to the world of piano, so assuming you are that person, welcome!

The Piano is without-doubt the most played and written-for instrument in history. I can't give you much credit for choosing the Piano as an instrument to learn, simply because it's a no-brainer let's be serious!

The 88-key wonder we know today has undergone several face-lifts since its' first real appearance in the early 18th century thanks to the Italian instrument-maker Bartolomeo Cristofori. What was initially completely wooden, consisting of a mere four octaves, and absent of any pedals was an instrument soon to be an extraordinarily complex and sophisticated iron-framed beast.
