Kathy Chow (A.Mus.A, L.Mus.A) studies with Glenn Riddle. With extensive experience in performing, teaching & accompaniment she has performed in venues such as the WA Government House Ballroom, Iwaki Auditorium and Melbourne Recital Centre. Concerto engagements include the Zelman Memorial Symphony and Fremantle Symphony. Kathy recently performed Liszt’s transcription of Beethoven’s 9th symphony in the art installation 'Stop, Repair, Prepare' by New York artists Allora and Calzadilla.

Kitty Xiao
Kitty Xiao

Australian pianist Kitty Xiao attended Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and studied with Glenn Riddle and composition with Anthony Lyons. She completed her Licentiate in Music Diploma in 2007 and was also awarded the Victorian State Premier Award in Music. Kitty graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Music from the Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne.

Aaron Gleeson

Aaron began playing piano at age 4 and has more than 10 years of performance experience. He specialises in jazz improvisation and contemporary styles of music, performing in a broad range of ensembles around Melbourne at venues such as Bennett Lane, Uptown Jazz Café and Paris Cat. He completed his Bachelor of Music Performance (improvisation) in 2013 where he studied one on one with some of Australia’s leading pianists including Dr Tony Gould, Marc Hannaford, Dr Donna Coleman and Andrea Keller.

Based in Melbourne Australia, having recently relocated from NYC after seven years in the USA, pianist/composer Mina Yu has worked in a number of capacities; as bandleader, sideman, musical director and educator. Her debut album 'Papa’s Records,' was released in May 2015. Although clearly infused with jazz, the album stands out due to its warm sounds and joyful originals that are part American and part Korean, combined with 70s funk rhythms, rap, and jazz vocals.

Tiffany Tan is currently in her Honours year at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music studying piano with Professor Ian Holtham and a 2011 recipient of the Pearis Rodgers Scholarship. Peter Toohey had his first piano lessons at age 9, studying with Bronislaw Sozanski. Peter completed the Bachelor of Music with Honours in 2012 and recently completed a Masters of Music with Professor Ian Holtham, head of keyboard at the University of Melbourne. He has achieved his LMusA on Piano, performed on 3MBS radio and given numerous recitals across Victoria, and also in Austria and Germany. He has played recitals in Melba Hall, the Melbourne Recital Centre, Fed Square, and many more.

Recipient of three full music scholarships and the Gold medalist in the International Youth Arts Festival Piano Competition, KingYi has performed in venues such as Melbourne Recital Centre, Iwaki Auditorium, Government House of Victoria, Park Hyatt and extensively abroad. At 16, KingYi was awarded a High Distinction in the Trinity Guildhall Fellow Diploma Piano Recital (F.T.C.L.) with a High Achievement Award. Kade Brown is a young up-and-coming jazz pianist from the far south coast of NSW now based in Melbourne, and at nineteen he is already a well-seasoned performer with two albums recorded over the last couple of years and another one due later this year. He has twice been selected as a participant, and once as mentor, for the Juilliard Winter Jazz School and is in his 9th year of studying classical piano with Professor Bill Hawkey, former Director of the ANU School of Music.

Sienloo Ewe

Sienloo Ewe completed her Bachelor Degree of Music in 2012 under Glenn Riddle's guidance. Being a piano teacher, Sien focuses on teaching AMEB & ABRSM syllabus, teaching students of all ages. Sien is also a regular accompanist for choirs, examinations and competitions, experienced in accompanying different instruments like voice, violin, guitar, flute and more. Children love working with Sien because of her warm character, patience and creativity, keeping the lessons fun and interesting.

Born in Suwon, Korea, Laverne Oh is currently completing a Bachelor of Music with the eminent pianist, Benjamin Martin. Laverne's performances impress audiences with a warm sound. Laverne has performed frequently as a recitalist in both Korea and Australia, with recent engagements including solo recitals at the Surrey Hills Music Festival. She is also a regular guest artist at many of Melbourne's prestigious venues, including Melbourne's Park Hyatt and the RACV Collins Street club.
